When the world can't rely on its superheroes, who can step up and save the day?
Xander thinks he's the hero for the job, but the world believes otherwise. Turning water into sand is an inconvenience, not a superpower. Self-styled Sandyman, he's better known as the Wrecker of Windermere, a man who washes with alcohol wipes and drinks through a straw.
His backup barely adds up to a fraction of a superhero: a spoon-bending landlord, a ten-gram telekinetic, an invisible security guard who can't see, a floater, an unlucky love interest, and a woman who knows everything about you. Superzeroes, every one.
Zeroes aren't important. Unless one leads them. Then they become significant.
Maybe.
When Manchester's actual superheroes become supervillains overnight, maybe is all the world has left.
The Just Us League is a comic superhero adventure about useless powers, worse plans, unlikely heroism, and the terrifying realisation that saving the world might still not get you out of work tomorrow.
